Birthday Countdown Calendar
Makenna's birthday was the day after Christmas and she was supposed to have a party on the 29th. But, we had to reschedule in light of all the puking I was doing. :) So, now she keeps asking, "When is the party? When is the party?"
I got the Mark the Date stamp set in the mail yesterday and also in today's mail, got a used Crayon Kids set. I have been wanting that Crayon Kids set F-O-R-E-V-E-R. I *love* this set. Maybe it's the teacher in me, I don't know.
Anyway, I decided to make her a Countdown Calendar. I thought I was just going to stamp the calendar on an index card and call it a day, but I decided to play around a little bit instead. And hey, any chance I get to use my Crop-a-Dile! I'm sure by the time you read this, she will have checked off all of the days, even though it will still be Friday.
Here are the details:
Stamps: Stampin' Up! Mark the Date and Crayon Kids (retired)
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Close to Cocoa, Positively Pink (retired), Blush Blossom
Accessories: SU! Rhinestone Brads, SU! Brads

Your countdown calendar is a brilliant idea - and it looks fab, too!
What a fantastic idea for this stamp! I made a last minute decision to preorder this set and I'm so glad I did.
What an adorable card! I love the countdown calendar!
I just got excited because I have a Makenna too and you seem to spell it the same way. I had NEVER heard the name before we named our daughter and now we see it quite often. Cool name!
This is really cute and sooooo creative. Beautiful job!
